Noelle, I just want to clarify your prices: is the $5.00 per foot for waxing.. per side of the hull / cabin sides, or is it both sides for the $5.00 a foot ? You have a good reputation for your work, and I hope others hire you. Leah

It would be appreciated if someone could trim the grass right before the PSA entrance sign on the left at the entrance on a regular basis.. The lawn people never seem to get to it, even though reminded. It is a small area, but looks so much better when cut by a lawn mower or weedeater. * no electric up there. I try sometimes to trim it with my clippers, and someone was nice and cut it about 2 weeks ago....Leah

The local fire department has used our ramp in the past for water emergencies when their facilities were close by. That is why we are asked to leave our keys in our cars when we leave them on the turning circle, and have gone out to your boats. The cars can then be moved quickly. Their trailers or boats may now be bigger than they were years ago, so it is smart to consult them. Leah

Everyone has been great in voicing their comments about the wall. We all are certainly entitled to our opinions, and it good to hear any concerns. But like all things at PSA, we need to do repairs, and or new projects regularly, or they all come at once and the cost would be prohibitive. We would certainly be unhappy then. Please vote for the wall project and trust the board that we elected to handle this project. As Mike has stated, after going over the budget soon with the membership, it will be determined if, and what other projects are done this year. Scott, because the written wording which was voted on by the membership after MUCH discussion in March 2010, stated that all money taken out by the Board would be repaid. Leah

I agree that the wall needs to be replaced and that using something besides the wood is the way to do it. I do think that ALL senior members including life members, and also the Associate members should pay the assessment for this wall. I feel the assessment should be $100 per member instead of $50 each. That way we can pay back the money taken out of the reserve fund... as a loan being used for the wall, and the usual yearly money that goes to increase the reserve fund. After the wall is paid for in 2 years, the assessment can drop back to just $50 for senior members as usual. Some members do have financial worries, but most can handle this, and it keeps our reserve fund growing. The board seems to have done a thorough job researching this project, and should go ahead with it. PSA always needs to keep our basic facilities and grounds up to date and attractive.
